Question: What lease periods are available

Answer: Auckland Floats have rental periods to suit everyone, whether you require a float for 1 day, or 5 years, we can taylor a package to suit your needs.

Question: What payment terms are available

Answer: Payment is made by direct credit to our bank account with weekly, two-weekly or monthly payments, whichever suits you.

Question: Is any form of bond payable for a lease or hire float

Answer: A refundable $500.00 bond is payable at the start of the lease period. If hiring for a day, a $50 bond is required. If the floats are returned undamaged, the full bond will be returned.

Question: What are the costs

Answer: Costs are dependent upon the float chosen, some second hand floats are available from $45/week, check out some examples in the lease/hire section.

Question: Why not just simply BUY a float

Answer: Choice is of course yours. But you may only be requiring one short term - not sure if your pony will suit a float, be only trialing a horse for a short period, maybe your float is off the road for a while, or you are waiting for a new one to be built. What ever the reason, purchasing a float for a short period, then having to re sell, can lose you thousands.  

Question: Do the floats need to be insured

Answer: No. Insurance cover will be taken care of by Auckland Floats. The $500.00 bond is effectively the insurance excess, in case of loss or damage. Additional insurance cover is not necessary. As per our insurance requirements, Auckland Floats will supply a locking system with each float

Question: Is there a pick up and delivery service available

Answer: Auckland Floats may be able to deliver to your door.  This fee varies according to the delivery location. Please contact Auckland Floats for a specific quote.

Question: If Auckland Floats hasnt got the float I want right now, can I book one.  

Answer: Yes. Complete a contract, pay the $500 bond, and we will get hold of the float you need to fit your requirements. We currently have brand new floats on order for people right now. We also have second hand floats coming back after leases expire.
